Chrysalis Records release a limited Red Double Vinyl Edition of Steeleye Span: Live at the Rainbow 1974.

The record features the band at the height of their powers playing to a sold-out audience at London’s Rainbow Theatre in November 1974 in support of the “Now We Are Six” album release. Pressed onto two red vinyl discs, Live at the Rainbow includes Steeleye classics such as the top 20 single “Gaudete” and “Thomas the Rhymer” among a track list of exceptional folk-rock arrangements. Their career, spanning over 50 years, has seen them achieve four Top 40 albums and two Top 20 singles as well as countless sold-out live shows. Through an ever-changing line up, their popularity has continued to this day.
